DealPullr ("we," "us," or "our") operates the DealPullr mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App as a customer or as a business.

By using DealPullr, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

a. Account Information

• Email address
• Password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication)
• User type (customer or business)

b. Profile Information

For customers:

• Name
• Profile photo (optional)
• Short bio (optional)

For businesses:

• Business name
• Logo / profile photo
• Business “about” description
• Business locations (labels and addresses)

c. Deal and Event Information (Businesses)

• Deal titles and descriptions
• Original price and deal price (if used)
• Event details and times (for events)
• Business location labels and associated addresses
• Images you upload for deals or events

d. Location Data

For customers (and sometimes businesses), we may collect:

• Approximate or precise location, based on your device’s location services, to:
• Show you nearby deals within a selected radius
• Filter which deals appear in your feed

You can control location permissions in your device settings. If you disable location access, some features (like nearby deals) may not function correctly.

e. Automatically Collected Information

We may collect:

• Device type and operating system
• App usage information (e.g., screens viewed, basic analytics)
• Log data needed to maintain and improve the App

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Allow businesses to post deals and events
• Show customers nearby deals and events based on their selected radius
• Display your profile (name, photo, business info) within the App
• Store and show deal and event images
• Improve, maintain, and troubleshoot the App
• Communicate with you about updates, changes, or support

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Services

DealPullr uses third-party services, including:

• Firebase Authentication – for user login and account management
• Firebase Firestore – for storing deals, events, user profiles, likes, and other app data
• Firebase Storage – for storing photos you upload (profile pictures, deal images, event images)
• Apple Maps / MapKit – for address suggestions and map-related features

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

We rely on Firebase and other reputable service providers to store your data securely.

We take reasonable steps to:

• Protect your data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure
• Limit access to systems that store your data to authorized personnel or services

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App.

If you delete your account, we will:

• Delete your user profile document
• Delete deals and events associated with your account
• Delete your Firebase Authentication account

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

• Update your profile information
• Control location sharing in device settings
• Delete your account from within the App
